Our Mission

At Faith Community Academy, we are educating children in
Christ-centered Faith, Service, and Academics for the glory of God.
In Matthew 28:19 Jesus commands us to “Go and made disciples of all nations.”  A disciple is a disciplined follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Becoming a disciple is a lifelong process.  We believe it begins in our spirit as we accept the Lordship of Jesus Christ and become part of His Kingdom and Family.  The process continues in the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:1-2) according to the Word of God.  We integrate the central themes of the Gospel into every situation that our children face, every lesson we design, every experience we encounter, and every activity we facilitate.
Training children according to the Word of God and applying God’s sovereignty to every area of academics, social development, and spiritual growth is all a part of being a disciple.  Because we are educating children, we are conscious of the science of child development, cognitively, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  Therefore, we are prepared to teach children at their current stage in life.
With Christ at the center, we are motivated to serve on another.  St. Augustine said, “I believe in order to understand.”  Through our Christ-centered faith, we are also motivated to learn, understand, and apply the eternal truths God has created for us to discover.  We believe that faith must first be established for us to fully understand the world in which we live.
